Install kit for THX Ultra2 in-wall speakers
The IK-802-W installation kit offers increased mounting flexibility for our THX® Ultra2 in-wall speakers and RW-5802 in-wall subwoofer.
This revolutionary kit design incorporates a color-coded mud ring for easy size identification a breakaway wire tie and multi-position snap fit wings.
The metal wings easily fasten to the studs via screws staples or nails. Ribbed for increased rigidity these wings enable a kit to span up to 24 inches easily. Painted white for easy marking and placement these metal wings will fold around the edge of the studs if necessary.
*This kit is NOT plenum rated.

ME-650-C
The ME-650-C fire-rated speaker enclosure allows installers to meet building codes as well as diminish the undesirable transfer of sound from one room to the other.
- Designed for in-ceiling speakers with 6.5-inch woofers
- Manufactured from high-grade cold-rolled steel
- Exceeds the one-hour fire-rating requirements
- Fits 16- or 24-inch stud spans
Designed to fit all Reference Series in-ceiling speakers with 6.5-inch woofers (except for the square models) the ME-650-C allows residential contractors to meet building codes as well as diminish the undesirable transfer of sound from one room to the other.
